Our dentists
Seven experienced dentists working together at 18 Wimpole Street. All are registered with the General Dental Council, and specialist titles are used only for dentists on the GDC’s specialist lists. You can check any dentist’s registration at gdc-uk.org.
Dr David Guy
Dentist: implants, restorative and cosmetic dentistry
BDS (Wales), PGC Restorative Dentistry (UCL), MSc Implant Dentistry (Warwick) · GDC No. 81898
David qualified from the University of Wales College of Medicine, where he was awarded the Wystan Peach Prize for Restorative Dentistry. He gained distinctions in his postgraduate certificate in restorative dentistry at UCL and his MSc in implant dentistry at Warwick Medical School. His work focuses on complex restorative and implant cases, including bone grafting and sinus grafting, and he lectures on implant and restorative dentistry.
Dr Richard Marques
Dentist: cosmetic and restorative dentistry

Richard graduated with distinction from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Institute of Dentistry. His special interests are cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including porcelain veneers, composite bonding, whitening and Invisalign, along with dental implants and the treatment of gum disease. He regularly gives advice on oral health in the media, and hosts The Dr Richard Podcast.

Dr Ilaria Mestroni
Dentist: implants and aesthetic dentistry
Dip Dent (Padua) · GDC No. 250451
Ilaria qualified from the University of Padua School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2002. She completed an MSc in implant rehabilitation of severely resorbed jaws, along with postgraduate training in other areas of dentistry, and has worked with an ENT team on surgical treatment of the face and neck. She has a special interest in implant surgery and aesthetic dentistry.
Dr Hui Chen
Dentist: general dentistry and implants

Hui qualified from Cardiff Dental School in 2003 and went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Conscious Sedation. She has taught at Cardiff University Dental School as a Senior Lecturer, and has completed further training in dental implants. Hui provides general dentistry and dental implant treatment, and teaches on Guy’s College dental implant and restorative dentistry courses.
Dr Wilfred Chan
Specialist Endodontist
BDS (London), postgraduate degree in Conservative Dentistry (Eastman) · GDC No. 57260
Wilfred qualified in 1982 and followed a higher training pathway in restorative dentistry in the London dental teaching hospitals. He is on the General Dental Council’s specialist list in endodontics and accepts referrals from other dentists.
Dr Francesca Pantanali
Specialist Orthodontist
Dip Dent (Rome), PhD in Orthodontics · GDC No. 188314
Francesca has over 25 years’ experience and is an Invisalign Mentor. She taught postgraduate students in Rome before moving to the UK, where she works as a Consultant Orthodontist in East Sussex and in private practice in London. She treats adults, teenagers and children, including complex and multidisciplinary cases.
